The Africa Hub Talks take place from 8th to 12th February.
Friday
8th February
Opening of the Berlinale Africa Hub
2.30 - 3 pm

Opening of the Berlinale Africa Hub with Words of Welcome by Michelle Müntefering (Secretary of State for International Cultural Policy, German Federal Foreign Office) followed bytwo short keynotes by Lara Preston (The Ladima Foundation, South Africa) and Tsitsi Dangarembga (African Women Filmmakers Hub, Zimbabwe).

The Opening will be followed by our first Africa Hub Talk.
Inclusive Network Building: African Women Film Professionals
3 - 4 pm

Focusing on network building through online repertories, this panel will foreground the strategies, organizations and individuals that aim at creating a self-empowering, self-enabling inclusive network of African women film professionals.

The Berlinale Africa Hub Presentations 2019 take place daily from the 8th to the 13th February from 11 am to 1 pm, at Stand #002, Gropius Park. Each presentation slot consists of a 15-min pitch and a 15-min Q&A.
