Kellou, la quarantaine, vit à Bol, la capitale de la province du Sahel (Tchad). C'est une pêcheuse, profession transmise de mère en fille. Elle l'a appris de sa mère. Mais depuis quelques années, le lac Tchad se rétrécit et les poissons sont devenus rares. Le travail de Kellou est menacé.
Un jour, après une prise infructueuse, Mouna, sa fille de 12 ans, lui donne une idée : ramasser des sacs en plastique envahissant le lac et en faire des cordes pour les vendre sur le marché. Par ce geste simple, Kellou parvient, à sa manière, à lutter contre la pollution plastique et à s'adapter aux nouvelles conditions provoquées par le changement climatique.

In order to participate in the global effort in solving climate change and its urgent issues, ART for The World and its partners, wish to bring their contribution with a new film anthology production composed of 11 short movies of 5' to 11, directed by well-known independent filmmakers from the five continents.
This new film anthology explores the concept of INTERDEPENDENCE and our urgent needs to reduce environmental damage and to preserve our natural resources, in respect of the four fundamental elements essential for our life on this Planet.
