Un film choral sur l'art, l'identité et la solitude, autour de trois personnages dans les vastes espaces (inconnus, d'où le titre) namibiens. Il s'agit de Sara la rebelle, Anu le musicien et Marcus, un acteur africain-américain. Au-delà, de leur vécu, ils sont tous trois confrontés à une réflexion philosophique : qu'est-ce que cela signifié de vivre dans une Namibie indépendante, en se jouant des frontières entre fiction et documentaire.
