was born in Egypt in 1974. He led studies in medicine he left in 2002 to pursue an independent career in photography. Then he worked for national and international magazines like Bidoun and the Guardian and various individual clients and companies. He is also currently pursuing independent documentary projects covering different aspects of the contemporary Egypt.
