South African documentary filmmaker and photographer based in Cape Town.
She is an Independent Production Coordinator and Photographer.

Antoinette Engel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Film and English from the University of Cape Town and started work in TV production in late 2009. Taking on a number of different roles within the industry since then, she has worked as coordinator, researcher, producer and now director, most importantly her work always centres on projects with heart.

In 2011 Antoinette researched, produced and directed her very first documentary - on meat production in South Africa - broadcast on SABC2 and in 2012 she helped turn the wheels of the popular women's show: I Am Woman/Leap Of Faith, in which women share how they've overcome their greatest challenges in the hope of inspiring other women along their personal journeys.
